Sinful Dancing

Some denominations reject dancing as sinful...maybe this is why.

1) When did John Travolta give up Scientology?
2) Dig the guy in the background getting into it.
3) Dig the breakdown.
4) Is that the REAL copyright date? Jesus save us...

Hat tip for this day-making hilarity this way.

UPDATE - It seems the Travolta family was less than impressed that their song and dance was making its way around the internet. So, those of you that got to the party late will just have to imagine the hilarity.

There are so many things I could say!!!!!!!!! But, as my friend Johnny G said yesterday, “I peed my pants. The ones I was wearing and the ones in the closet.”

A few questions…
Wait, is that a family? Dark haired lady being “Mom”?
How many hours/days/weeks do you think they worked on that?
Can you imagine being in the congregation and having to sit through this?
Do you think the dude singer/dancer has ever CD and Video ever made my Carmen? I submit that he does!
Did you laugh when people in the congregation clapped after the “breakdown”?

Wait, is that a family? Dark haired lady being “Mom”? - Did not think about that until just now! If it is a family - do you think the girl, at some point in her life said, "Daaaaad! Pleeeeease stop doing the breakdown!"

How many hours/days/weeks do you think they worked on that? - you know, after watching it through a third time, i think the dude missed his cue and turned his head the wrong way. other than that, the choreography was really tight.

I picture it very much like the Lawrence Welk show ;)

Do you think the dude singer/dancer has ever CD and Video ever made my Carmen? I submit that he does!

no doubt - and he took a picture of John Travolta from Pulp Fiction into Fantastic Sams and said, "Make me look like this."

Did you laugh when people in the congregation clapped after the “breakdown”?

Oh yeah! I meant to put that in the initial post - but sadly, I forgot.

Break it down!

my personal highlights:
1. the jazz square. allow me to harken back to my junior high years of show choir.
2. i watched and looked for any hip movement. i detected a total of NONE. thank goodness, we all may have been driven to lust.
3. plenty of jazz hands. love those jazz hands.

Jason, I came back to watch this again (I want some more please) and it's saying this video is no longer available. And I am sad.

I think the dude is the brother. And the dad is one of the guys playing keyboard. The other two dudes are uncles. Maybe the dad's brothers or even a brother-in-law.

According to my computer the video is no longer available.

Maybe someone didn't think it was funny.

check the update - it seems that the Travolta family has made a copyright claim, forcing Youtube to pull it off the site.

Let the battle of persistent uploads vs. copyright claims begin...
